It’s not easy being fishy

This lesson was designed for high school students to learn more about population dynamics, ecosystems, and resource management by looking at how marine resources are managed here in Hawaii. It was adapted from a Curriculum Teacherʻs guide from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. At the end of the unit, students will be tasked with finding a way to spread awareness for some of the issues that they have found in their research throughout the unit.
This curriculum is still under review by faculty. Units identified as Under Review have been submitted by educators. While they are available to view now, they are currently being reviewed by our curriculum committee for addition to this site.
