The STEMS² masters is offered through Outreach College. If a program is completely online, Hawaii resident, Non-resident, and International student tuition is the same. In addition, if courses are held during the summer, resident tuition rate applies to all students.

The STEMS² masters limited cohort participation to 20 people. These 20 people build a collective learning community that includes their instructors, cohort members and STEMS² community partners.

From Monday-Saturday, we will typically run from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (possibly earlier/later on some days). In the last week of Summer 1 and the first week of Summer 2, the cohort will lodge together all week as we engage in learning journeys of a neighbor island.

Yes, our program is hybrid (online & Face-to-Face) so we welcome students from diverse geographic locations. Candidates residing outside of Oahu, please inquire about travel stipends and accommodations for Summer 1 and Summer 2 three week learning experiences.
