I incorporate sense of place into marine science curriculum to share research conducted by the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. I also incorporate STEMS² into my work as a curriculum developer and educator for Surfrider Spirit Sessions, a non-profit that supports Hawai‘i’s at-risk youth through kai-based programming.
