I practice STEMS^2 by designing learning experiences for my students that are relevant, rigorous, and promote positive relationships to community and place.  The best kind of teaching and learning pushes the limits on what we think is possible while trying to provide more opportunities to authentically engage students in their learning.  I want my students to engage with the world around them so that they can grow up to be stewards of the land and advocate for themselves and their families.
