Understanding and appreciating other perspectives is an important part of working together as a society. I often encourage people to consider hypothetical scenarios and to think outside their box. Similarly, I try to put myself in the “shoes” of and imagine what life might be like for each animal I come across during my day. They are as much a part of this planet as we are, yet their voices often go unheard.
