Talk Story / Paper

Our Project In Hawai‘i’s Intertidal (OPIHI) is a citizen science program that engages teachers and students in surveying intertidal sites in their communities. OPIHI aims to enhance participants’ scientific literacy skills, increase stewardship of local coastal communities, and enhance connections to place by engaging novices in authentic research experiences.
