Loving parenting, and geeking out with my child, I am struck by youtube videos: the conception and content of mathematics and who is represented doing mathematics. Therefore, I seek to have a conversation with other parents, educators, and community-members regarding what do you do with your children (and students)? What do you notice? What questions or issues do you grapple with as a parent, educator, and/or community-member? I shall briefly highlight my goals to mathematize my biracial son’s upbringing as well as discuss some of what we watch online and provide a critical analysis. I look forward to constructing STEM knowing together.
