Artistic Activism: A Creative Engagement
Talk Story / Paper
Art and creativity are powerful elements of expression. As we seek to engage our communities in our work and innovations, we must continue to broaden ways of fostering partnership. Vanesha, a Black gay artist and educator, will perform poetry and share how art can tell a story and shape a conversation. Focusing on her intersectional identities, Vanesha uses art as a base for human connectedness and to share bold truths. Consider how to expand your creative engagement in the world through artistic activism and further connect your passions to the communities around you.
