Description

This session entails a 3 hour hike along the Manoa Cliffs Trail. This journey is to familiarize people about invasive species and the importance of preserving native plants and forests. Come learn to recognize different native and non native species, hear moʻolelo about the Manoa area , and talk story about some basic principles of Kilo and Papaku Makawalu- observing your surroundings.

NOTE FROM SYMPOSIUM COMMITTEE: To participate in service-learning experiences, you must register in advance. Complete the Symposium Registration Form by June 21st to ensure a space. All session details will be sent to registered participants directly from the host.
