Wahine Processing Power: Empowering Girls through STEAM workshopsWahine Processing Power (WPP) aims to cultivate women and girls to be creators and innovators of new technologies by providing empowering STEAM learning and networking opportunities and experiences. WPP is a collective represented by members from ʻIolani School, HawaiiKidsCAN and the Purple Maiʻa Foundation. We seek to enrich the lives of women and girls to provide immersive, STEAM learning and networking experiences for wahine of Hawaiʻi. Our team is comprised of educators, administrators, and community organizers who seek to close the gender gap in the technology and scientific sectors.

Pacific-basin STEAM Teaching ConferenceGet information about The Pacific-basin STEAM Teaching Conference is held simultaneously alongside the world-class science fiction, science, and culture conference--HawaiiCon--September 24-27, 2020 at the Sheraton Kona, Hawai'i. The conference will feature hands-on teaching workshops and field trips to explore Hawaii’s unique bio- and geo-diversity. CEUs, Graduate Credits, and/or PD Credits will be available.
