The Hilinehu: Educational Leadership Advancement (HELA) program is seeking new applicants for the next school year. HELA is a Native Hawaiian Education Program (NHEP) aiming to increase success with our Native Hawaiian graduate students at the UHM College of Education.

HELA supports students by providing mentors, a variety of graduate student professional development, stipends, and opportunities to develop a community of Native Hawaiian scholars. If you or someone you know is a graduate student in an education program in the 2023-2024 school year who might benefit from the HELA program, please consider filling out or forwarding the application.
