Electives may be taken in any semester, including summer, and are selected from LTEC 400-level and 600-level courses.  At least three electives must be at the graduate 600-level and taken after admission to the program. Students develop a plan for electives with their program coordinator based on individual interests and goals. For a complete list of courses and descriptions, see the UHM course catalog. Courses outside LTEC may also be used as electives if aligned with the student’s emphasis or research and approved by an advisor.
