Get Involved (Stay Connected)

Here are a few great ways to stay connected with the LTEC Ohana:

  • Keep in touch

Add or update your contact information with the LTEC Ohana Contact List form. Any suggestions or comments that you would like to share with the LTEC Faculty and Staff may also be sent through this form. Events, job postings, and other relevant information are shared over the list. If you have family or career news that you would like to share with the LTEC Ohana, or if you would like to get more information about events, feel free to email us at ltec@hawaii.edu.

  • Get social

Connect with LTEC on Facebook or LinkedIn, to make sure you receive up to date info from LTEC faculty, students, and alumni.

  • Join the Hui

Our local chapter of AECT, AECT-HI provides a forum for building community among LTEC students, alumni, faculty and our community. Activities range from participating in professional conferences, special lectures, networking with colleagues from the LTEC field, to social events and service projects in the community. The LTEC Department awards travel support stipends to qualified LTEC students every semester presenting research at national or international conferences. To find out more about travel support, contact Graduate Student Travel Funds coordinator (TBA).

  • Expand your professional network

Join University of Hawaii Connect to connect with fellow alumni, current students, and to stay up to date with University of Hawaii news.

  • Celebrate your fellow alumni

Nominate a classmate for the LTEC Distinguished Alumni Award.

  • Continue to learn

Check out new educational technology courses, the annual TCC Worldwide Online Conference, and the postgraduate certificate programs (COLT) offered by the LTEC department.

The Teaching, Colleges & Community Online Conference (TCC) is a three-day, entirely online conference for post-secondary faculty and staff worldwide with over 100 sessions that cover a wide range of topics related to distance learning and emerging technologies for teaching and learning.
