President and CEO of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), Lynn M. Gangone, extended her support of the UH Mānoa College of Education in a letter to Dean Nathan Murata on February 12, 2021. In response to another “subjective and short-sighted review” by the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ), a research and policy group, AACTE has issued a formal letter to refute their 2021 review.
