Self-introduction:
Jhu Chun Yang is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Education, National Sun Yat-Sen University. Her research in Hawai’i focuses on how islanders’ ecological identity is shaped by diverse life experiences, geographical location, age, gender, and culture. She actively volunteers with local environmental groups to gain deeper insights into Hawai’i’s environmental challenges, which greatly enriches her research in environmental education.
Her academic interests include education for sustainable development, environmental education, game-based pedagogy, and agri-food education.
