HI Now Contest
Hawaii News Now morning show, HI Now, recently promoted a “My Teacher is a Hero” contest as an extension of the University of Hawai’i Be a Hero. Be a Teacher. campaign. The segment featured COE Dean Nathan Murata and teacher candidates Megan Escalona from UH Hilo and Griselda Kelly from UH West O’ahu. Nominations are being accepted on the Hawaii News Now Facebook page until March 17, 2019.
