The College of Education (COE) has one of the best graduate schools in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report’s Best Graduate Schools. The COE was ranked 66 out of 258 schools surveyed in the 2020 edition.
Since 2005, the college has been among the top 100 education programs and remains at the top for funded research, having been awarded more than $16 million in contracts and grants in 2018.
Nationally accredited since 2000, the college receives top rankings and awards for all of its programs throughout the year. Most recently, the Master of Education in Teaching (MEdT) program was rated best master’s degree in secondary education and best full-time program by Online Masters. The Learning Design and Technology (LTEC) department was listed as one of the best online master’s in educational technology programs in the same publication.
