World University Ranking

The College of Education (COE) has been ranked 97 out of 428 universities by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. Their annual list includes the top 1,000 universities in the world, and last year, they began ranking education programs that are leading across education, teacher training, and academic studies in education subjects.

Recognized as one of the world’s most influential university rankings, THE provides performance data and benchmarking tools for universities in every continent. Their ranking is one of several annual rankings which recognize the COE for its excellent programs. College Choice ranked the COE’s Bachelor of Education in Exceptional Students and Elementary program among the 25 Best Special Education Degrees for 2018.  U.S. News & World Report has placed the COE in the top 100 graduate schools of education in the nation for more than 10 consecutive years.

Dean Nathan M. Murata said, “We are proud to receive ongoing recognition for our college’s amazing programs. This latest ranking is a testament to our outstanding faculty, staff, students, and alumni who are committed to excellence, innovation, diversity and inclusion in teaching, research, and service.”
