How long have you been with CRDG?
I started as a student assistant in 1988 for the CRDG Projects Office. I just received my 25 years of service award from the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaiʻi (RCUH).

What drew you to design and publications?
I’ve always liked to draw, but I originally applied to CRDG because I thought I was going into teaching.

What roles have you held with CRDG?
I was hired as an illustrator with many other duties as assigned. After graduation, I was hired as a full-time graphic artist for CRDG’s science section. I later moved to the learning technology section as the Senior Learning Technology Digital Arts Designer and also split time in Marketing & Publications Services (MaPS).

What do you like most about working here?
It’s my amazing co-workers. They are all wonderfully talented, hard-working, and dedicated to improving P-20 education.

What are your future plans?
Touring Asia, promoting a yet to be announced character for Sanrio.
