Graduate Student Research Symposium 2025

We have heard the term “iPad kids” being thrown around here and there, but what if students actually utilized the technology they have grown accustomed to using to help them build a real-world skill? I have conducted a series of lessons for teachers to teach their students how they can use digital media for communication and creativity. Teachers would be able to use these lessons in tandem with other subjects being taught or they could use it as a stand alone assignment. It is important that students are given the chance to be introduced to new skills that could help them find a passion or give them a fair chance in highly competitive fields. This generation of students are part of an age of new technology whether they are ready for it or not. Let us help our students go into the world, prepared.
